     The home he had learned to love, now completely destroyed from the chaos. As if the place hadn't been in ruins before, but now it had been turned to rumble beneath him. All that was left was an fragile child left unattended. 

'You're our last hope' 

     The last words he heard from his father before the boy had been sent away. To search for a vineyard and the man who owned it. The foreign boy now alone, frightened, and overwhelmed by the pressure of his new goal, waited for someone new to save him.  Without knowing much of the language in these new lands, the boy was left to fend for himself. 

    Many questions swirled in his mind. What adventures rest ahead for the boy, and who is waiting for him? Why was he sent here of all places... and what was he to do in order to save his nation that had already been destroyed? Forgotten memories waited to be unlocked as he grew older, and old friends he could see again much later. Many things are up ahead little boy, but it is your journey to find out what.

Disclaimer! Before I begin, I'd like to say that this is not a ship! It's just a story of the relationship of Kaeya and Diluc as BROTHERS. This story was inspired by a rp I did with my friend Enigma, and once they post it I will mention them here as well. This is posted on here, and also my Ao3 account: AWildThei. Ever consider how one thing can change your life in an instant? Ever been faced with the reality that our time isn't infinite? We all have that problem that's a burden on us, a problem if we just faced it our lives would be so much easier, but its a problem that's so hard to tackle, that it's simply easier to push it to the side for now. We go about our lives believing we have plenty of time to fix things and resolve that problem, but deep down we all know that isn't true. That problem is a ticking time bomb where one day it will be too late to fix, yet we are to scared to face that reality so instead everyone goes along with the naive hope that everything will be fine. However one day reality will hit and it will hit hard. You never know when it's going to come knocking; you're never ready for your life to abruptly change but it can happen anytime. For one Diluc Ragnvindr, reality hit him hard! He never expected his life to change that night but when he walked up those tavern stairs, his fate was sealed and the timer had started. tldr: Diluc finds Kaeya poisoned in the tavern and realises he's racing against time t save his brother but also get to reconcile with him.

After a bit, he falls asleep, and I hear Kaeya laugh again. Looking over at him, he smiles. "He likes you," Kaeya whisper shouts, drunk off his ass. "I would hope so. It would be awkward if he disliked his bartender." I say, confused. This only makes Rosaria laugh next to Kaeya. "He means that Venti likes you romanticly, Diluc." She snorts, also feeling the alcohol. Or Diluc's face always heats up when Venti is around. His vision no doubt. Ok, maybe a little doubt.
