     The home he had learned to love, now completely destroyed from the chaos. As if the place hadn't been in ruins before, but now it had been turned to rumble beneath him. All that was left was an fragile child left unattended. 

'You're our last hope' 

     The last words he heard from his father before the boy had been sent away. To search for a vineyard and the man who owned it. The foreign boy now alone, frightened, and overwhelmed by the pressure of his new goal, waited for someone new to save him.  Without knowing much of the language in these new lands, the boy was left to fend for himself. 

    Many questions swirled in his mind. What adventures rest ahead for the boy, and who is waiting for him? Why was he sent here of all places... and what was he to do in order to save his nation that had already been destroyed? Forgotten memories waited to be unlocked as he grew older, and old friends he could see again much later. Many things are up ahead little boy, but it is your journey to find out what.

Disclaimer! Before I begin, I'd like to say that this is not a ship! It's just a story of the relationship of Kaeya and Diluc as BROTHERS. This story was inspired by a rp I did with my friend Enigma, and once they post it I will mention them here as well. This is posted on here, and also my Ao3 account: AWildThei. Diluc knew calling CPS was the better option. He was horrible with kids, and they had a tendency to not like him, too. So, why couldn't he get his fingers to finish typing out the required numbers when he found a crying child in his bar? - "Get out." The child did not look phased at all. In fact, he giggled. "I suspect you would think and say as much, for I look young and such," he rhymed, his hands moving along with his flowing words. "A drink in exchange for a story performed, just one for a boy so scorned?" Diluc did not miss the way his lips pursed out into a pout and the way his eyes widened in an innocent expression. Fortunately, the owner disliked needy children as much as he hated the taste of alcohol. He prepared himself to repeat his statement when the consumer on the left chimed in, "Where are your parents, kid?" His bright smile twitched. "Under their watch I certainly am. Do not fear, we're not in a jam." The kid laughed it off again, and this time Diluc noticed the dirt crusted under his nails. He felt for his phone again. The bartender knew a liar when he saw one.
