A young Kyubira named Umbiar has had a normal life, until she became a monster. Upon becoming free, she faces the Pantheon atop Mount Kami. But her victory comes at a price.
Her soul takes on the form of a dragon named Tamashi, but he is as dark and corrupted as she was. Now Umbiar and Tamashi journey to purify the dragon so they can be one once more, returning her completely to life. But if Tamashi dies before this, her ancient soul will vanish from the world.

When the day finally came for the exceed children to be sent to Earthland, headstrong Pandora argued with the Queen, eventually striking her. The penalty for striking the queen is death.
