* "H-hey could you take my order?" A quiet but deep voice asks me, snapping me from my thoughts and causing me to jump.
*"S-sorry yes I will," I say before I look up and see him. Holy shit he's scary as hell. He's a giant skeleton with a huge crack in his skull, a bright red eye, and extremely sharp teeth. He was wearing a giant sweatshirt that made him even more huge. I stand there staring at his teeth, my fight or flight kicking in.
*"Uh, did you get that? You're kind of just staring heh. Sorry I tend to have that affect on people," He says as he rubs his hand against his neck awkwardly.
Monsters have slowly become part of our normal day to day lives. It's been 5 months since they've been freed from the underground and humanity has almost forgiven them for murder of countless humans. Y/n is not entirely comfortable with the monsters yet, as they terrify them, but they will never treat monsters badly.
Y/n works at a local café where they meet a skeleton that terrifies them. They try to treat him with kindness anyways, but every time they look at him panic sets in. Eventually y/n becomes determined to make this monster her friend and hopes that one day her fear will go away.

Instead of you being a human, you're a monster in the Underground. I will continue to go back and edit or merge parts until I have completed the story. I am not affiliated in any way with fangamer.com. This is my 1st story in a VERY long time. I like to do things a little different as far as reader inserts go. 1. Instead of Y/N for your name, I use _______. Why? Because when I'm reading a story and read Y/N I think Y/N and then have to remember the name of the character I've made in my head, where as if I see _____, I immediately replace it with the name because there is no word for me to read. Love it or hate it, comment. I can be persuaded if the masses disagree. 2. I don't do H/C, E/C, etc., because it does the same thing that Y/N does for me. Instead, I will be as vague as I can on insert character descriptions giving the reader more freedom to imagine what they look like without forcing it down their throats. 3. For undertale specifically, I am more inclined to make monster!reader inserts, because that makes more sense to me. This will not always be the case. If the masses prefers human!reader inserts, comment so that I may be persuaded to do so. Also, feel free to ask for requests. The more requests I get, the more inclined I will be to do more stories. They don't just have to be undertale related. I will give you credit for any requests at the beginning of the story.Completa
