George's life was perfect up until the age of 17. His father, the person he was closest with, died in a brutal car accident. This left just him and his mother, who couldn't seem to stay sober. They moved to a small town in Florida, basically in the middle of nowhere to start over. Clay, on the other hand, lives a very happy life. He earns a steady allowance from helping his parents on their farm. Everyone at school loves him. He gets good grades. Girls like him. Clay is hiding a dark secret, though. One that could never be exposed to a small town like this. Clay likes men. The only people that know are his friend group and parents. How long can he bear to keep this secret for? I'll Never Forget
George and Clay had known each other since they were incredibly young. Their friendship was indescribable, it was like they were tied together and would always find each other again. And that was true except now they were only like that by two small bracelets, one blue and one green. Clay's timetable had gotten more and more busy and he had less time for George eventually resulting to a null. A friendship that was once inseparable was now long gone, just memories of better times as Clay's life became hell. The days became repetitive, school, train, sleep. Every day was the same as the one before and the one after. Only George had to find a way to fix this, as he made a promise he would never forget. Out Of Control
George hasn't had an easy life after being diagnosed with autism. Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.Complete
Out Of Control Sequel
After George and Clay got together, life went on. Unfortunately not everyone is happy with their relationship and they show this clearly. After a lot of bullying, trying to break their relationship and a lot of pain caused, George doesn't seem to be able to take it anymore. (I recommend reading the other first!) After George is kicked out from his home for being transgender, he looses hope in ever finding someone that would accept him for who he really is. George's only option was to move in with his homophobic grandparents and he only wishes to be called a boy however that apparently was too much to ask. In a last attempt to find happiness he attends a music class as he enjoys singing. He meets a boy, Clay, however will Clay be just like the others? Old story I wrote, it's cringy and probably doesn't have the best grammar, read on own risk. It's almost Dreams birthday so George decideds to go to Florida to surprise Dream, Sapnap helps with the planning and gets George there. But George's past makes it hard for him to stay there. He wants to go back to London.
