They have only ever had each other. Left without parents at a young age, best friends Hajime and Tooru turn to the streets to keep from being separated by child services. For years they live on the streets, fleeing from those who might try to keep them apart. Everything changes when they're found by The Fukurodani agency. With the promise of being able to build a new life where they don't need to live in hiding, they agree to join up.

Some things are too good to be true. Tasked with the leadership of a team of teenagers Hajime and Tooru must navigate the unknown world of a battlefield as they attempt to keep their team together and complete their mission.
