The Power of Black - Poems on Humanity , Social Cause - volume 2
The Book cardinally aims to end the negative perception and energies associated with the color black and the under-privileged sections of the society. Many a different times the utmost exhilaration spawns from a persons disability as his/her desire to achieve the impossible is several times heightened than the normal counterpart. The magical essence of Black has been epitomized to the hilt in every poetic stanza that follows-to lead to a trail of unassailable victory. Parekh brings to the fore various evils lingering in the society and tries to cure them offering the balm of poetry. The poems contained within are starkly explicit and poignantly debate on various global social causes like female foeticide, blindness, smoking, molestation, adopting the girl child, hiv-aids discrimination.etc. In a battle of adroit analogies the poet emphatically portrays even the tiniest of social evil and urges mankind to rise above the same. Poetically he tries to unite hearts all across the Universe in the spirit of love, oneness and compassion to give birth to a renaissance against evil and unjustness. This victorious concoction of poems would appeal to all those who've so selflessly fought for a social cause and to uproot evil forever from the fabric of society.Complete
Words a Mother Never Heard (Wattys2016)
A young woman who was always the life of the party, quick to tell a joke, always smiling and happy, tragically dies at age 23. What her mother found after her death reflected a much different young woman, her poetry. Her words showed a young woman crying out to feel loved, wanted, beautiful and worthy. Struggling to accept herself as the wonderful, happy, beautiful young woman everyone else saw her as. Her words reflect the pain and torment she allowed another to cause her. It is her mother's most heart felt desire to reach even one young person struggling to accept themselves. To encourage them to open up and talk to someone, to know they are never alone, to know their feelings are validated. She also hopes to reach a mother that perhaps feels her daughter is perfect and completely in charge of her life, as mothers often do. After reading her poetry, hopefully it will facilitate conversation, confirm unconditional love and help to end words that a mother never hears. I am her mother and these are her words.Complete

"Women have within them an incredible power that is often underestimated or overlooked. It is a power that comes from their innate strength resilience and ability to empathize with others. They have the power to lead inspire and bring about positive change. They have the power to fight for justice and equality and to advocate for the rights of the marginalized and oppressed. The power of women lies in their ability to connect deeply with others to listen and to understand. They possess a unique intuition and emotional intelligence that allows them to navigate complex situations and find creative solutions. Their compassion and empathy enable them to build strong relationships and support each other through life's challenges. Women also have the power to shape the future. As mothers daughters sisters and friends they pass down values knowledge and wisdom to the next generation. They have the power to shape the minds and hearts of those around them instilling in them the values of love kindness and equality. The power of women is not to be underestimated or diminished. It is a force that has been driving progress and change throughout history. From leading social movements to breaking glass ceilings in male-dominated industries women have been at the forefront of countless achievements and milestones. As we recognize and harness the power of women we move closer to a world where gender equality is fully realized. It is a world where the strengths and perspectives of both men and women are valued and respected and where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
