After being made into a weapon herself, she does not want that to happen to any child. On May 4th, New-York got attacked by some monsters, and the avengers were fighting them (without you of course, you weren't trained enough, and way too young). You were safe at the Stark Tower so it was calm all the time, and you just used to spend the whole day in your room, reading or do whatever you like to do.
