Would you like to read a story about superheroes? Would you like to read a story about teen superheroes? Would you like to read a story about teen superheroes, undercover youth centres, hot pink factories, invisible scientists, ABBA played on a flute and sometimes even friendship?
Well, even if you didn't tick off everything on that very specific list, tough! Because you've read this far and I do so hope you'll read further.
Essentially, this is a story read from six perspectives- Copycat, Decibelle, Lazuli, Newton, Omega and Pixel- in an episode-style format. If you don't know what that is, that's fair, as I made it up. It just means that each part is a separate story, with an overlapping half arc.
A/N: If I actually manage to commit to this, expect a little entry for each of the main characters every week or so. If not? then this'll be a monument to my sins.
But if I manage to stick for this for over two months, and you decide to continue reading past this point, then really:

I should be dead. At least, that's what the government officials told me in the super-secret lab where I woke up strapped to a mattress in a windowless room...Sound problematic to anyone else? Like I told the psychos experimenting on me, I've got zero clue how I got my new powers, but I'm sure-as-shit not going to let them turn me into a deadly weapon (or squeeze me into a spangly jumpsuit). Disclaimer: this book is lgbtq friendly, and has more than one love interest. there is no love triangle, but there is a poly romance vibe. it is teen fiction, so it does not get explicit. There are mentions of past bullying (but again nothing too explicit), a near-death experience when a character nearly sacrifices themselves for the good fo the group, and isolation-related trauma. It is definitely cringey because I'm bad at dialogue, and the running gag of the story is that I will use every conceivable romantic trope. Honestly just please don't give up on it too quickly, I promise it gets better. It is gay. Also, if you showed up from Pinterest I love you.
