"Just come back to me, okay? I need you to come back." He murmured, locking our eyes in an intense stare. Like he was making the most of it before seeing me for the last time. "I will, Kook. I promise." I squeezed his hand one last time before letting go and grabbing my backpack from the floor. ~ A virus breaks out in a small city, contained 'safely' yet the people inside have to fight for their lives. The day started normal. You were on campus, flipping through notes, when a strange scream echoed across the courtyard. At first, you thought it was a prank. But then you saw blood. Students running. People collapsing, twitching... then rising again, their eyes glazed over. Zombies. You ran, your lungs burning, until a car screeched to a stop in front of you. The door swung open. Without hesitation, you jumped in. The car roared forward as chaos consumed the city behind you. Your hands trembled, your heart racing, as you looked at him. "Don't panic," he said, voice steady despite the disaster outside. "I know what's happening... I've been studying this virus. And if I'm right, this is only the beginning."
