Then, something occurs that will change not only Kayla's life, but everyone else's. Kayla ends up in a coma after a tragic accident that did not occur in a car. Now that she is at home and back to school everything is too much for her to handle. Kayla tries to commit suicide and then is forced to move out of her house. It's all a roller coaster from there.
