it's been ten years since ladybug tragically perished in the flood of paris. ten years since gabriel agreste was revealed as hawkmoth and brought to prison. seven years since chat noir started his crazy rampage that continues to today.

adrien has cleaned up the agreste name, and his fashion business is thriving. but he shuts himself in the mansion all day, only letting in a few people. at night, he is chat noir, going after criminals in efforts that often cause more harm than help.

marinette has been slowly making her way to her dream but ever since tikki broke and chat noir supposedly betrayed her, she stands still and silent, only coming alive when talking about fashion. she can barely even fulfill her guardian duties.

nino and alya have both made their way into the world. alya, as a high-profile journalist slowly breaking out of her naive ladyblogger image, and nino as a sought after music producer. by day, when not doing their jobs, they constantly debate the idea of permanence and marriage, instability and divorce. at night, as rena rouge and carapace, it is all they can do to keep paris safe from chat noir.

chloe has changed the most, becoming one of the main executives of the agreste fashion empire and somewhat less snotty. her friendship is one of the only things keeping adrien alive. yet, she still can't truly find a way to make herself feel alive.

each one is going through something nobody seems to understand, each has their own sadness they hold. to save paris from worse threats and get through everything.... well, it would just about take a miracle.
