Lyra Lindsey and Jack Brewer have a history. They used to date, as in boyfriend and girlfriend. But their relationship was cut short when Lyra decided to take up the offer of becoming an Otai Academy student. Lyra begged for a long distance relationship, but Jack believed it wouldn't keep the relationship healthy.

It doesn't take long for Jack to move on to Lyra's best friend, Kim. Their relationship was all Milton, Rudy, and Jerry would talk about when they called. From how cute they were to how sweet Jack was. It broke Lyra's heart.

When Lyra returns a year later, she finds out that Jack and Kim never called the quits, despite them being half a world apart. Lyra is devastated, but finds comfort with her new boyfriend, Aiden.

When Jack sees the two together jealousy bubbles in his body. He doesn't know why since he's with Kim, but it does. Eventually he expresses his concerns with Kim, who thought it'd be best to part anyway.

Jack tries his best to flirt, compliment, and love Lyra until she's his again. But when she doesn't seem to reciprocate will he give up? Or will he be persistent?
