"Hey Dabi," Izuku began. Taking in the view of the city's night. He watched as it bustled to life. He stared intently, the feeling of numbness invaded his body. What was he looking for? Comfort? Happiness?  And despite his insistence, he couldn't rid his mind of the dead body lying in the basement of the building.

"Are we bad people?" He turned to face the man who stood idly beside him. He dimly registered the flash of surprise that flickered across his turquoise eyes. Dabi let out a sigh, his shoulders slumping forward.

"Why do you ask?" Izuku shrugged, silently contemplating.

"Humans by nature are... contradictory beings," Dabi began, almost wistfully, "whose idea of good and bad are skewed by morals and society itself. To some, we are the roaches-the villains of the story. And to others, we are the saviours." His hooded eyes pierce through Izuku, and then he smiled. A smile that didn't reach his eyes.

From the floor, Izuku gapes at him. His mouth opens, then closes. Then opens again. The man studies him as he sits on the bed, unamused. "I can still kill you. So don't be stupid and scream."
