14-year-old Jessica Patterson has nowhere to stay for the summer. Her mom sold her apartment, her dad's out seducing women, and she can't afford a summer camp or class. She lives in a tent behind a supermarket and has no phone or internet, and has nothing to do. Tables turn when her one and only friend, Anna Watson, offers the guest bedroom to her until her life gets back on track.
