Josette Gilbert is a new student attending the University of Chicago as a sophomore. Being at a whole new college, a whole new state is already nerve raking enough. To make matters worse, she's all alone. Now her first day is pretty normal and simple as usual, that is until she gets to her English Lit class and meets the one and only Professor Cyrus Jones. At first glance Josie and Cyrus are both immediately attracted to each other but of course it's wrong and they know it. She starts off her first day in his class amazing, showing off her skills to him and the whole class. But that quickly ends when she decides to bad mouth him during a class one day landing herself in detention late at night with him.
Alone.
What they didn't know is that one late night detention will start a war of feelings and affairs between the two. They know it's wrong but they can't stop. But there is a slight problem, not only is Cyrus her professor and Josie is his student but they are both in a relationship with other people.
What could possibly go wrong?
