It hasn't been long since the final battle between the nine realms and the black rings that had brought havoc to the nine realms. After learning that the white rings cannot be taken off unless the wearer chooses to move on, Loki and Abigail had taken that as their saving grace to not have to outlive the other.
Their journey will take them from having to decide if they truly want to rule a kingdom or if they will choose a quieter life either on Asgard or Earth, hoping that all they've been through has brought them onto a path that will lead them to happiness.
Two families that are so different, but have fought together on numerous occasions. Will the bonds of family be tested, or can they find the happy medium to usher in the new generation of demigods and leaders.

Things are not as they seem at the Avengers Headquarters. For one, Tony Stark has a daughter that can rival his intelligence but is almost the polar opposite of her father. If needed, Abigail has no problems creating weapons for safety, but would rather create medical breakthroughs. She's hard headed and knows how to have fun, but she's always in her father's shadows and to many is still only known as being the one night stand baby to the Stark legacy. Loki, god of mischief, is used to only experiencing pain and mistrust. Even though he caused many of the problems himself, he was always trying to get the love and attention from his own father to prove he was always worthy. Sometimes more than his older brother, Thor. When the two cross paths, many only see the troubled past of Loki and what they still see as the innocent girl raised in a spit home. Will they lead each other on better paths, or will they get entangled in a web of mischievous plans that can cause their downfall. Doesn't Play Well With Tricksters
In this alternate universe, Loki has been exiled to Midgard when Odin sees through his disguise (Think the end of Thor, The Dark World). He is haunted by his part in the death of his adoptive mother. He has visions of her that may be her talking to him from beyond the veil of death or just his overactive guilty conscience playing tricks on him. Either way, he has promised her he will do everything he can to make up for the things he's done. Even if it takes until the end of time itself. As part of his penance, Loki is restricted to Stark Tower until such time as the team believes he is no longer a threat to the world. As it gives him the opportunity to try to keep his promise, he doesn't argue. Much. Rachael has recently acquired magic from a relative. Shortly after, she was recruited by Stark and moved into Stark Tower to help the team. It's the one place she would never have expected to encounter the God of mischief himself, who happens to be the root of the magic she doesn't trust. (Long story short, Rachael's ancestor Bridgette fell for Loki when he was on Midgard nearly four hundred years ago. Eight months after Odin ordered his sons home, Bridgette had a daughter. Skip about five years of wishing for him, and Bridgette accepts that he's not coming back. She marries and has other children. One of these later children is Rachael's ancestor. The elder child is the ancestor of Rachael's distant cousin Nicolla, who was adopted by Rachael's grandmother and raised as Rachael's aunt. Still confused? Missions start to come in that force them to work together, and force her to admit he's doing what he can to make up for the destruction he's caused. It seems they have been destined to meet since they were both children. The dark elves of Svartalfheim have struck up an alliance with the Uruk-hai to bring about darkness and destruction across all the lands. Arry and her companions are the last hope for the realms.
