"Don't be sorry, darling," he murmurs, fingertips trailing up your back and he lifts his head away from yours. You look up at him, now able to fully take in how he looks. He's not wearing his cloak for once and you're able to see his hair. It's longer than you expected and nothing how it looked in the second dream you had. His hair is blond but nearly white, he's got it pulled back into a ponytail, showing the undercut. And oh-
Your eyes widen and your cheeks burn at the sight of his uncovered mouth. He knows you've noticed it now, and his lips are pulled into a sly smirk (You can only assume he's got a brow raised too). There's a thin scar that starts on his upper lip and goes down to his chin that's hidden by a dark stubble. If just that part of him was attractive, you could only assume the rest of him was just as attractive-maybe even more so.
/Goodness, this man will be the death of me./
"Something the matter?" The rasp in his voice is enough to create a whole new type of tension in the room. Not the bad type of tension, something more... risque.

"What do we have here?" He said as he crouched down to my level. "Why are you running from l'manburg? Are you a citizen there?" He asked as I stared into the eye holes of his mask. "Who. Are. You." He stated, a little more impatient than before. "I don't know." In which a young twenty year old girl finds herself with no memory of her life and a stranger with a green hoodie and a white smiling mask helps her find her way. There will be no smut, only slight fluff. Also there is swearing and violence so don't read if that makes you uncomfortable. The cover art is mine, but all the other art in the book is from various places like tiktok and Instagram. A sword drops to the ground in the middle of the arena... everything is quiet as the crowd stares at the two men in the middle of the ring. One male with strawberry blonde hair stands over a blonde male, a sword pointed to his throat. Both stared at each other expectantly, waiting for the other to make a move. "I'd like to make a compromise. " The strawberry blonde finally spoke. The blonde eyed him, trying to ignore the blade near his throat. "What kind of deal?" The blonde tried to move backward, but the strawberry blonde grabbed his arm, and slowly pulled the blonde up, blade still at his throat. "Let's rule together. With our skills, no one would ever dare to mess with us." The strawberry blonde let go of the blonde, only to hold his hand out. The blonde stared at the hand, his mind racing. Ruling together? Definitely not what he expected to happen when he woke up. Then again, he didn't expect to be the one on the ground either. The crowd watched, both sides quiet. Some spectators hoped he would say no, in fear that the kingdom would become corrupt and unjust. Others hoped he would say yes, to end this 15 year war. Then, the silence was broken with one word.
