Venti came from a very rich and wealthy family. 

His family only loved him for the sake of fame. Venti is a very popular popstar with a very toxic family which he really hated it.

People may see them as a very healthy happy family in the screen without knowing who his parents are really are outside the screen and alone in the house.

Venti always wanted to feel what love really is since his family couldn't show it to him even once. 

His friends recommended him to go to Genshin University during their elementary days so they can continue their journey together.

Till then, he wasn't expecting a guy from his class would make him feel what love really is.
