And only ZPD officers that are prey are allowed to possess one. But it gives predators some relief at the park without their collars. But even with his collar off. Though Nick is content with his new life, when a strange new matvia gang causes trouble for an old friend, and a hired help for the ZPD becomes a rival for his precious partner, Nick finds himself forced into a truly tumultuous situation, risking the loss of all that he has fought for and gained in his new life forever. This is a story written using elements of older Zootopia lore, as well as following through on the inputs offered during interviews with the main actors themselves, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman. While this story will occasionally stray to the PG-13 side (in terms of action/violence and some dark/perilous scenes), being a dedicated Zootopia lover and a #WildeHopps shipper since the first time I saw ZOOTOPIA in theaters, may this story be a satisfactory fanfiction sequel to this amazing Disney-based anthropomorphic animal world. :)
