Venom, Riot and the  other dead symbiotes weren't the only ones to find Earth - Venom's sister Nemesis decided to tag along. Once they crashed on Earth, Nemesis soon found herself in symbiosis with a damaged, orphaned Latina named Raiva. After one year of keeping her silence, Nemesis revealed herself to Raiva when Carlton Drake's rocket exploded. 

The famous reporter who uncovered it all, Eddie Brock, soon found out about Raiva and immediately adopted her.
