A new threat to Hyrule has come, in the form of a beautiful woman, once Kokiri, turned dark by Ganondorf's magic. It's up to Link and a ragtag band of fighters, mages and healer to stop him: Rin, a young sheikah girl who wants nothing more than to prove her worth, Blair, a Gerudo mage with a dark past and an even darker present, Rhea, Blair's girlfriend, who can see the future, and is afraid of what she sees.
The darkness can't be fought off. It surrounds your being. It is part of you.

For centuries this land has been a democracy, but few actually know just what is going on behind the scenes. What use are the old tales when no one even believes in magic anymore? Zelda is a girl who lives her life trapped within the walls of her family's mansion. She only leaves to go to school, and there she meets someone who will quite literally change her life forever. You are an outsider, no one knows where you came from. Protecting those around you became something you dedicated yourself to. You trained yourself to fight in the graveyard for days until your body gave out and you'd start again. One day, Link finds you battling a lone goblin that has infiltrated the village by yourself. Impressed by your natural skill, he brings you along to gather more allies from all other villages. A Cinderella meets Legend of Zelda, but the roles are reversed. Instead of a prince looking for his princess, the princess Zelda must balance her duty with her desires. Instead of a young maiden turned maid, Link is stuck protecting his younger sister from their evil stepfather and stepbrothers. News of the reincarnation of Ganondorf is given to the royal family. The young Princess Zelda is pushed harder than ever to unlock her sacred sealing power, while also expected to hide this terrifying information from her kingdom. But all she wants is to pursue her passion of studying the flora and fauna of Hyrule. As a son of a royal knight, Link has a fighter's spirit. When his father died from an untimely illness, his mother had to marry in order to provide for her two children. Shortly after, she passed, too, leaving Link and his sister to their stepfather. Link was forced to do the household chores if he wanted his stepbrothers to keep their hands off his sister.
