Supernatural creatures exist only in stories, in fables and legends, but never in real life. As long as all humans believe that, the World Alliance for Supernatural Protection-or WASP, as it is more commonly known-is accomplishing its mission. Historically, in countless instances over thousands of years, humans cannot be trusted not to kill supernatural creatures when their existence has been proven; one has only to look at the global near-extinction of dragons and unicorns to see the truth of that. However, despite the best efforts of WASP and the supernatural creatures around the world, accidents do happen, and when they do, it is the job of WASP special operatives to clean up the accident, to make it seem like nothing ever went amiss.
	WASP special operatives are highly trained in the various arts and methods of making accidents disappear. Different special ops teams tend to get sent on different jobs, based on their talents and skill sets. My team, Special Ops 13, is WASP's secret weapon, the proverbial do-not-touch-except-in-case-of-emergency red button. I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate. Turning humans is a dangerous process for both the humans and vampires. The vampires hired scientists to create a synthetic venom to turn humans into vampires. Their first prototype was tested prematurely. It gave the human test subjects extreme speed and strength for 1 hour. They escaped and infected hundreds. The infection spread and mutated till the Earth was overrun by different kinds of hungry human - eating zombies. Vampires aren't the only supernatural creatures. Most of the others have gone into hiding, trying to wait it out. Werewolves, however, are the mortal enemies of vampires. They have formed a guard that protects humans day and night. Dogs are a man's best friend right?
