Dream isn't the only one hiding his face with a mask, he isn't the only one hiding his emotions behind the stupid looking white mask with the black smile and bead looking eyes that are staring deep inside your soul.
George is also hiding behind a mask. His mask may not be visible to others but it's there.
His mask could also be presented as his fear of revealing his past. The past he is so afraid of and the past he is trying to forget.
Will Dream be able to take George's "mask" off, or will he end up driving himself insane trying to connect the puzzle pieces?

Dream and George used to be best friends when there were little kids but Geroge's family moved away and he ended up forgetting about Dream, but Dream never forgot his best friend.
