"I was never meant to hurt you!" Exclaimed the God, his eyes enraged and violent. "You were never meant to be caught in the crossfire and now look!" he bellowed, glancing over his dying friend as he retracted his hand entirely, "What do I do without you!? huh?" he panicked, stepping forward to help before he was stopped. Cain Lark was a young man with scars and a heavy load on his shoulders, leaving him to look after his mother at a young age before the Raid of his village where he was torn from his mothers arms and forced to watch her die by fire before he was stolen away with the rest of the village boys. Where he was then forced to train and do vile things along side other men, young and old. But what happens when the very thing they trained for. Becomes him.

They say in the end we always pay for our sins, that when we reach those pearly gates and judgement falls that we will repent for our ways and justice will be served. That by only believing in HIS sacrifice are we truly ever saved. But... what if you are the sin itself... what if your very existence was a sin... an abomination stained onto the fabric of the world with no say nor choice of your own. An anomaly placed within the hands of the ignorant to wield as their weapon of choice. A damned creation in search of a salvation that will never be your own. What if... despite your beliefs... you could never be saved...
