Reece Barrett is abrupt, handsome, and egotistical. Despite the fact that he is handsome, many people try not to cross his path. Many of the students stopped eating Reese's because it reminds them of his name. Although he is intimidating, he still manages to have a lot more friends than me. Even though having two friends isn't a lot, it's better than having none.

Then there is me, Clarissa Haymonds. I'm not anybody special. I do not participate in any sports and I'm not a cheerleader. I am that invisible girl that has no friends and that no one knows about; yet somehow I managed to become friends with Natalie, one of Reece's best friends. As I became friends with her, I started to catch different glimpse of Reece, and it became my mission to find out whether or not the rumors about him were true.
