It's the year of the 75th Annual Hunger Games. Isla Dunne, victor of the 73rd Hunger Games, can tell something is off after last year's games. They had tipped the scales, thanks to the two District 12 victors, and she can feel a shift happening in the districts. Because of this, she isn't surprised by the Quarter Quell announcement. The one condemning all past victors to be re-reaped, knowing that the Capitol will do anything in their power to regain control. However, this means Isla now finds herself thrown back into the very games she thought she had left behind, just to save someone she once hated with every fibre of her being.
