The way her fingers moved with the cello was extraordinary. Lexie was born with an amazing gift, she could play nearly every instrument possible with extreme precession and delicacy but after the death of someone she loved more than the world itself she gives up on music. Her inspiration is lost and she believes the feeling she gets when she plays is too good for her, she swears she’ll never play the cello again…until she meets James.

James comes from a family that has his entire life planned out for him. All he wants to do is sing in his high school band and do what he loves. His parents think this is a waste of time and that he needs to focus more on business and taking over his father’s multimillion dollar company. James tries everything to get his parents to see how important his band is. They make a deal with him that if his band can win the battle of the bands and win a record deal he can pursue his dream. Only problem is, the rules require one female, and there isn’t a musically talented girl in the school…or at least thats what he believes until one day he hears a beautiful sound coming from the music room.
