No one expected the two people who hated each other most to fall in love. After never ending arguments, fights, and unexpected events they slowly fell. They were the type of people to hate each other so much but yet again desire each other. They were so similar but so damn different, at times they would lock into each other's beautiful hazel eyes and remember how much they need each other. How much they truly mean to each other. They would say I hate you but really they can't live with out each other. They always tried avoiding one another and separating but it never worked, they always ended up with each other. Even if they did hate each other. They never expected to slowly fall for each other.

"I hate you" my blood boiled with rage, I felt like punching him or scream at him. My heart beat like a drum. A drop of sweat slowly rolled down his temple.

"Say it again" he clenched his jaw and got closer to me.

"I fucking hate you. Did you hear me! Did you hear what I said?! I hate you?!" I felt his hand around my throat. He looked into my eyes as I looked into his. "I hate you" I said softly feeling his hand run down my chest.

"I despise you" he left walking away leaving me with want and hate.

"I love you," Johnny murmured, clutching my wrist to the point I could not pull away no matter how much I tried. "Stop it," I snapped, "Stop saying that!" "But I do, I love you, I want you, I need you to remember," He was pleading now. "Stop, quit pretending-" "There is no pretending," Johnny said with absolute clarity. "I love you and I will love you until the day I die. You don't remember now, but you used to love me too Rosey. And I will love you until you love me again, even after I die, and if there is a life after this I will love you then, too." I stared at him as he poured his heart out; he was moving away, for once he wasn't trying to get me to love him. I was doing it myself. "Will you ever give up on this?" I asked. Johnny shrugged, "Someday, I suppose I'll give up, and sit in a rocking chair. But I'll probably be rocking fast, because I don't know what I'll do without you." ----------- Rosemarie Curtis' story has seemed to come to an end. Everything is lost. Nobody can forget. Nothing is the same. Now the gang seems to have to wrestle the past, rebuild on the ruins inside them. But sometimes life has a twisted way of bringing back something you've lost. For Rosemarie's story is just beginning. But there was no way the gang could scrape the earth clean, and keep thinking they could start again. Because even though Rosemarie is alive, her memories of the past are gone. Her mind had left them; she has now gone wild and wary. She remembers no feeling, no hurt, and no loving. Johnny must cope with losing his only love, while her thoughts swim between them, hidden under rocks, disappearing in weeds, and he fishes for them, dangling his own memories like bait and lures. But how can you love someone you don't remember loving? How can you remember something you don't want to remember? And how can the gang hold together when everything has fallen apart?

With the exception of Pony, no one was closer to Charlotte than Johnny Cade. From the moment they met at the bus stop on her first day of kindergarten and his first day of second grade, they were inseparable and could understand each other with just a look. Johnny was exactly a year and a half older than the twins, and about a year younger than Soda. Due to their birthdays, Soda and Johnny were in the same grade, but he always would ask for Charlotte and Pony when he came over to play. When he was alive, Darrel Curtis Sr. would teasingly call Johnny his son-in-law when people asked who he was in relation to the family. Johnny and Charlotte would both get bright red while the brothers would laugh, with their mom telling her husband to lay off. Johnny's parents were both drunks and rarely paid him any attention unless it was to beat him, so he practically lived at the Curtis household until the accident, and now he spent more time at the lot, not wanting to add more financial strain to Darry. "I've missed you," Charlotte muttered. "I never left, Lottie," Johnny responded, finally releasing her and urging her to walk, not wanting to be out for any longer than necessary. He knew exactly what she was talking about, but he couldn't tell her the real reason why he was spending less and less time with her. Johnny Cade X OC Curtis sister TW: some descriptions of violence, blood, sexual assaults, fights, etc.
