Ainsley is just a little mountain village girl with a strong talent in healing and medicine. Unfortunately, women in her village are supposed to get married and have kids by the time they're eighteen at least. She's constantly the talk of the town along with her mentor because of the path she's taking. It doesn't include marriage. She grows up believing the choices before her have to be sacrificed for, marriage or doing what she loves. Loving someone or living her life. Family or freedom? Her choice is put on hold until the village finds a nearly dead stranger that she helps sew back up and bring back to life. She grows up with this stranger and her choice becomes more and more perplexing as she realizes she actually wants to love and have a family- but must she give up her talent for that love? And if so - what would be the point if that love was one-sided? Or A story about a girl who grows up and finds out what she wants in her life.
