After saving them from a crack in their wall, The Doctor leaves with the promise of returning five minutes later, so when he returns later than expected, there's no wonder why they've changed. As time goes by, The Doctor starts to notice that Avalyn's eyes catch the attention of everyone they meet, and it annoys him that he can't figure out why. But with cracks in the skin of the universe appearing, The Doctor can't seem to find the time to work it out.
