"What's so funny?"
"That's absolutely ridiculous." 
He stared at me some more and opened his mouth to speak, but I put my hand up to stop him.
"Its ridiculous because I'm asexual. I don't have sexual feelings for others."
I expected him to throw a fit and cause me to cower in embarrassment, but instead he smirked.
"That doesn't mean you can't be emotionally attracted to someone."
