Vera Amalia Rivera was exposed to the concept of death by the age of 5 years. It was her first introduction to a world she never knew existed, a reality obscured by magic that only people such as herself are able to penetrate. These people were known as children of the gods, half-bloods. Although for a while, she lived in bliss. Sure, the looming dread of one day being pulled into this horrible reality hung over her head every second of every day, it wasn't until she reached 10 years of age that her world was once again shattered.

What she wasn't prepared for however, was to become a champion for the gods. Or, in more specific terms, a martyr. A small piece in a ginormous puzzle, but otherwise the most crucial.

They told her she would die a hero. That she would be known as a legend throughout the ages.

Little did she know that death lurks around every corner. That her life would know nothing but the ideology that she must die in order to achieve what she wants.

Because in her situation, staying alive will never be enough to protect the ones she loves. As a hero, the world comes first.

The people she cherishes will one day seize to exist. Death is inevitable.

NOTE: This specific story is being discontinued. However, I'm starting it over from scratch in another one. Here's the link - https://www.wattpad.com/story/382006672-the-human-and-the-hybrid-the-owl-house-x-male-oc ----- You were regarded as a weird child in kindergarten. Weren't all the kids strange though? Despite the number of weird kids in your general class and grade, you were next level and nobody would hang out with you because of that. Plus, you had pointed ears, which made other kids feel awkward around you. Thankfully, that wasn't the case with Luz Noceda. You two instantly clicked with your similar interests. You would sometimes get bullied a little for your particular liking of Azura. Sure, it wasn't as popular as Marvel or anime but you liked it. Luckily, Luz was there to help you out against those bullies. Your friendship blossomed with her as you both aged. However, once you hit high school, you had a couple of problems. You struggled to keep your self-esteem up due to your depression, procrastinated on schoolwork that led to you completing on them during class, and kept getting into fights. Speaking of fights, you beat up your bully for getting your Walkman broken. But of course, the person getting bullied has to get punished rather than the bully themselves. Luz is also called up to the office for your shared book report, which caused a certain amount of chaos. Next, you're in a magical world that most likely differs from the summer camp you were sent to. You navigate through that world on a journey of peril, trust, romance, and longing. You even find inevitable information about your family, especially your mother. |This contains scenes that will be inappropriate for younger viewers. This will use He/Him pronouns occasionally since the story will be set in a Second-Person POV| 🌟HIGHEST RANKINGS🌟 #1 in luz #1 in king #1 in palisman #1 in owlbert

I could give you a sob story about how tough Cressida Lynn's life has been, but you're not here for that. You're not here to hear about how terrible her mother treated her and how she only got her first birthday present at age nine or how no one outside her cabin liked her. No. You're here to hear about how her life changed the summer of her 12th birthday. The summer when Poseidon's son came crashing through the camp borders after he'd killed the Minotaur. You're here to hear about how they found the Lightning Thief. You're here to hear about how they ventured through the Sea of Monsters. You're here to hear about how they withstood the Titan's Curse. You're here to hear about how they fought in the Battle of the Labyrinth. You're here to hear about how they defended the Last Olympian. However, I must warn you that this journey is not for the faint-hearted for each quest is more treacherous than the last. And it is most certainly not for mortals. But, should you find yourself feeling brave, should you be a demigod in a past life, a present life or a future one, then I invite you to join me on this adventure. #1 in hades #1 in greekgodsandgoddesses #1 in lukecastellan #1 in titanwar #1 in dionysus #1 in pjofandom #4 in zeus #4 in seaofmonsters #9 in kronos #10 in labyrinth #12 in percyjacksonandtheolympians #17 in greekmythology #23 in annabethchase #36 in poseidon (Lightning Thief - Last Olympian) (Disclaimer: All rights go to the legendary Rick Riordan, I only own Cressida and any original scenes and dialogue I've written.) He walks into school with bruises and cuts everyday, but no one knows his story. Jason Grace. 17 year old Jason is the Golden Boy of high school - captain of the football team. He has A's and B's. He lives with his sister, Thalia, and his mother Beryl Grace. His father, Zeus, passed away in a car accident when Jason was three years old. Although he may seem to have everything, he still longed for something more, as if a part of his life was still empty. Jason never really noticed Percy in beginning of high school. In junior year, Jason is willing to help Percy and break his stone walls. Is it all that though? Just helping a fellow classmate out? Or is it more than friendship? MATURE CONTENT.
