The stories filled with false hope and entrancing deceptions were nothing but true. Life wasn't as enthralling as many made it out to be. After experiencing the forlorn reality of life, she begins her journey to return to the looming walls, ineffably crestfallen. The feeling of lassitude starts taking over. There was no epiphany. No sudden realization. The denouement of life was nowhere to be found and the dalliance quickly conflated with the rest of the desultory life brought.

He didn't mind her missing eye since she was only human and couldn't change that about her. He actually found it unique and she was still beautiful inside and out, with or without a missing eye.
