Split in Two

Lilith has accomplished what she's always desired. She's made it out of school, lived past the age of 18, got her dream job as a detective and even flew through the ranks, and has her own secluded home with her loyal dog Maya. This is changed when she takes on a challenging case and has to be guarded at all times - by someone who is the first person who has peaked her interest in a decade.

Leon is disinterested in everything. He sees the world in varying shades of grey, and feels the only emotions of angry, bored, and angry. Instead of becoming something much darker he chose to do at least one thing right in his life and become a professional assassin for the Government. When he is hand picked to protect a detective from a small town who took on a case that much bigger then her, his whole life with start to turn.

There will be potentially triggering content such as gore, violence, steamy scenes - both consensual and non-consensual and anything else potentially disturbing I decide to put in my novel.
