Carter was a shy girl. She didn't have any friends, not that it mattered to her. No one bothered to notice her, and after a while she began to get used to it.
She never was much of a talker, but she definitely knew how to listen.
Alyssa was quite outgoing. She was somewhat popular with an amazing boyfriend and a million other friends. She briefly knew of Carter considering she sits next to her in history. She never payed much attention, but only because everyone else didn't.
It's clear that these girls are on complete opposite ends of the high school spectrum. What happens when one fatal event changes their thoughts about each other forever?

An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. I asked slowly, my stomach doing somersaults. Please tell me I'm jumping to the wrong conclusion. Pretty please. "Well," he started, a gleam in his eyes. "First, you grabbed the blanket and ripped it right off of me." I blinked at him, a horrified expression on my face. I slapped his hand away from my hair and turned around. Yup, there it was. Lying on the floor, along with my dignity. He continued solemnly. "And then, you climbed up on top of me." Could you die from your face overheating? I waited for my embarrassment to be complete as he tapped his chin, thoughtfully. "Yeah, that's about it." That's it? THAT'S IT? So I hadn't completely thrown myself at him. Just a tad. His brows furrowed in frustration. "You keep tensing up and it's making me lose my grip." I was tensing up because I didn't trust him. It didn't take a genius to know that. I hadn't been used to falling in a while. "You need to relax." He said looking me up and down. My jaw clenched. "Oh, so I'm the problem?" I crossed my arms. "You can't even lift me." I said raising my voice. This was never going to work. "I could if you'd stop shifting your weight." I rolled my eyes and shook my head. Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas. When she starts her new school, Cliffside High, everyone despises her. They don't like the same music she does and they don't dress like her. She's an outcast in their book. But when she gets home, she goes to her favorite website and chats with people who love her. Who don't despise her. But, everything changes when a stranger starts to chat with her. He compliments her, makes her feel bubbly. She feels like he loves her, and she loves him. Then things get a little weird when he asks her personal questions. He hissed as the alcohol touched his bleeding wound and he grabbed my hand. His touch ignited a flame and I knew that later I might have to treat myself for burns. "I'm sorry, did that hurt?" I asked, softly. I tried to calm my breathing as I did so, he was so close. The years that I spent staying away from his kind weren't paying off. "No," He retorted sarcastically, still holding onto my hand. "I hissed because I'm a snake. Of course that hurt, pumpkin." His comment awakened several buried memories, but I ignored them and continued to work on his wound. "Could you please let go of my hand now?" I muttered. He smirked and shook his head. "Do I scare you?" he asked, completely ignoring my question. Even though he did scare me, he scared me completely biscuit-less, I rose my head up and shook my light brown waves. "Absolutely, not." ************************ Gemma Reynolds is an an overworked nurse and probably one of the most innocent and pure people you will ever meet. When Wyatt comes into the hospital battered, bruised and bleeding, one night, Gemma is to take care of him. Through several long nights at the hospital, dangerous hide outs and intricate explanations, Gemma figures out that there is more to life than her simple routine and maybe nursing the bad boy isn't as bad as it seems.Complete

All Lola wanted to do was have fun so when her best friends Logan and Zoe brought up the school trip to some dusty old house of course she was bored just thinking about it, but when she found out her hot teacher Mr.smith was going suddenly she liked the idea. She thought the trip would be boring but hey maybe she could get him alone. But what Lola didn't expect was to see her classmates get killed off one by one by some crazy person in a mask.
