A girl named Marz was given a warning by her recent deceased grandfather. He warned her of an organisation that was studying, manipulating, experimenting on, and hunting people with a particular genetic mutations. The organisation blows up a nuclear power plant in attempt to activate dormant mutations. The government wants to use these individuals for political purposes. Those purposes are unknown to the young girl.
She try's desperately to get her twin brother Reid and her best friend and his little siblings out of the province before the explosion. No one knows if they have the gene. Not until it's too late.
Come on the journey with Marz and her friends as she discovers who she is and try's to save as many people as many mutants as she can will trying to hold it together for the people she loves.
Will she find love in her life long friend Kallian? Or will she meet someone along the way? Will her family have the genes or will she find a new family in the victims running from the government?
