all i wanted was to make a non-hardcore angst dnf apocalypse AU, so if youre looking for a short read to finish in one night, then this is the book for ya! :D

Panic
Life is going fine for George until he starts feeling... weird. Everytime he talks to Dream, he gets butterflies- Yearning for the joyful sound of Dreams laugh- But, panic starts to set in. Their only best friends, right? George doesn't want anything more, at least he doesn't think. Fearing that these stupid feelings will ruin evrything, George decideds to take a break from the internet. Things in his life change. He loses his apatite. He loses sleep. And, hes losing his connection with Dream. Yet hes still panicking. As he starts to fall into a deep state of depression, he hears a knock at his door. "Who could that be" George groans as he walks across the cold, hard floor to the door. As he twists the handle, it creaks. Shock freezes his whole body. "Dream?!" After an epidemic that gave half the population an incurable disease, only a few major cities remained. One of these included the wealthy city of Tallahassee, Florida, where they had the brightest minds looking for a cure. George Davidson was among those minds: his father was one of the richest people in the world prior to the outbreak and had sent George to one of the most prestigious medical schools in the country. Afterwards, after an incident that caused much grief in the Davidson family, George's father had set George on finding a cure. Finally, after four years of sleepless nights and painful losses, George had done it. He'd found the cure. But if that was the case, then why did he hire a coyote to smuggle him out of the city? Why did he run away with the only known cure for zombie-ism?
