Dreams of the Past
Blasted by the alien goddess, Kakashi and Sakura find themselves twenty-five years in the past. A familiar war is brewing and the village is filled with ghosts. Story Summary: After the devastating Fourth Great Shinobi War, only a handful of survivors remain: Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Iruka, and Hinata. The world is in ruins, and the bonds of friendship and the shinobi way seem all but lost. As the group gathers in the aftermath, the Nine-Tails, Kurama, speaks to Naruto, feeling a deep responsibility for the destruction caused by their past battles. In an unprecedented act, Kurama uses the last of his vast chakra to send them back in time to a pivotal moment: the day Team 7 graduates from the Hidden Leaf Village Academy. The group finds themselves back in their younger bodies, standing on the same rooftop where their journey began-before the harshness of war, before the loss of so many, and before the weight of their adult responsibilities. The air is filled with uncertainty, but this is a second chance. "Don't make this any harder than it has to be, Sakura." I swallowed hard, my body shaking. I can't believe this is actually happening. Who knew that it will actually end up like this? I knew that I have to save Naruto and Sasuke-kun so that we could run away and hide before it's too late. "I-I'm not opening the door." I took a step backwards, looking at the kitchen. There was a knife on the counter, I needed it. If he is going to break inside, I have to fight back in order to get out of here. I quickly get it and face the door once again. I take a deep breath and tighten the grip on the knife's handle. There was one big question that kept running inside my mind over and over again. When will this nightmare end? Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto suddenly found themselves stuck in their own "ideal world"; a world with no chakra, ninjas, wars and just peace, tranquility and happiness. Their loved ones who were once dead are alive and the place they called home is back to normal again. Everything seems perfect, right? Wrong. They soon find out the person who has trapped them in that world is out to kill them. What's worse is that he won't stop at nothing until they're dead and they don't even have chakra to fight back.
