Zuade Kaufman co-founded Truthdig LLC and its website 15 years ago and has been the publisher and CEO ever since, believing that online media was the future of journalism. She wanted to introduce the best practises of print media to the internet and provide a space for progressive politics, social justice, humanitarian issues, women's rights, the environment, and the arts and culture. Kaufman has worked hard to transform the website into a source of information that is free to dig deeper... to ask unanswered questions... to draw attention to the stories that are sometimes overlooked.
