Sarah, a 16 year old whose mother died in a derby racing accident, is lost in the wild plains of Texas. Just when she thinks she is alone and will never see her dad or her old farm house, which she is about to loose because they are poor, she meets a young and beautiful wild mustang named Fiona who has also lost her way away from her herd. But Fiona is no ordinary wild mustang, she is a million dollar derby horse who was very popular. Once Sarah finds this out, she has thoughts about entering the 2010 derby race and winning the money to save her old farm house, but ever since the accident with her mom, Sarah's dad doesn't approve. How will  she convince her father in order to save the home that she was raised on.
