Y/N is a young adult female who lives in Xing. She belongs to one of the many clans that make up the Xingese empire. The young lord, Ling Yao has returned from Amestris with more than just a different personality; he's a whole other person. The Emperor has decided to appoint Ling as his successor and things are about to change in Xing. Y/N was appointed to work in the palace around the time your sister Lan Fan left with Ling to head west. Your clan was divided into two groups, soldiers and ladies. But you didn't want to choose sides, you wanted to be you. What will Xing be like under the new rule? Will he finally notice you? And just who exactly is Ling now?
