Lina is full of insouciance, never takes anything too serious except for her grades. Having to accept that she's in her last year of high school, she has no other choice but to make the best of it.
Two days before her best friend's birthday, Lina plans a surprise, bumping into star athlete and long time crush, Douglas McCarthy the same day and stringing him into her mess of a world. She discovers that Duck isn't the same person she glances at in the hall ways. To both of their surprises, they both encounter situations that are out of the ordinary.
