Aparosa and her two brothers have been hopping from foster homes for years. When they get a letter from they're uncle saying they can live there, they set out from Virginia to Pennsylvania. Aparosa meets some of her olds friends again from when she used to live there. Her old friends, Tori and Will, grew apart after she left. No that she's back, can they grow close again? What about when a new person joins the group? And what happens when they find a caged animal 1,438 miles from its home in the woods. Can they save it before something disastrous happens to it?
