Zemo and Bucky, dating, get a call from a distressed Karli begging for help. They go and get her and later learn she's much younger than they thought and isn't leading the flag smashers cause willingly ... they are immediately protective and soon realise they want to adopt her.
A/N- I haven't completely figured out the timeline in terms of matching the show or even making sense yet... I just needed this fic in my life and no one was writing it so I thought screw it I'ILL DO IT MYSELF. Just keep in mind not everything will perfectly make sense so take it with a pinch of salt 🤣
