The kingdom of Agreva is experiencing its worst time yet.

On the first day of every new month, a person is killed. This has been going on for a while now. Nothing is known about the assassin or their motives for their actions. Fear has settled into everyone's hearts permanently.

As though that was not enough, a sacred diamond-one of the only three of its kind-and Agreva's source of protection, has gone missing. This hasn't happened in centuries.

The kingdom's defence systems are weakening and they are in grave danger.

There is no one to trust and no one to believe. 

But is there really much hope for Agreva when all they have is an authoritative King, a repressed Queen, an aloof Prince, a silent Princess and less than patriotic inhabitants?

A humble servant boy, Ragar, and his best friend and servant girl Johda, do their part in keeping spirits up and smiles intact as best they can. But they have a lot to find out; about their dear kingdom, about its inhabitants and about each other. When the going gets too rough, it will take only the strongest of hearts to emerge alive and in one piece.
