Arabella Whytewood and her family had always been looked down upon. Ever since her father, a pureblood, married a Muggle, the Whytewoods had been cast out from any relationship with extended family who had always been pure.
Arabella suddenly gets caught off guard when only she receives a personal invitation from Lyra Blackwood to attend the annual Blackwood Winter Ball.
At first, she refuses, due to the fact that she had always hated her cousin, though the thought of being invited to a party full of purebloods comes off as rather strange.
Why was she invited in the first place?
