(This book will NOT follow exact Kitsune rules so do keep that in mind when reading this. The age, tail count, and powers will be unique to this book alone, as in it will not follow the exact lore for a kitsune. I do know how they are supposed to work but I wanted to do it differently for this. I'm sorry if that upsets you.)

Virgil Tadaki is just trying to live the life he was given to the best of his abilities... That is until he stumbled upon a guarded wolf pack. Now he's tied to one of the pack and is forced to now include a wolf in his life... a wolf that's scared of his own name.

The Borrower and the Fairy Prince by inkling0121

*Completed* Virgil has never had it easy, not since he was kicked out of his home by his own father. He's struggled to survive, and has fought for food. He sees what should have been an easy meal, some berries on a tree hanging over the river. It should have been easy to get it, of course the stupid branch had to break and he was sent plummeting into the river. Roman loves to sneak away from his colony and his fae duties to head to the river, he's always wondered what is on the other side of it. Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off. *Completed* After a near death experience, Roman can see strange things, things that don't make sense. Animals that died, strange creatures that roam about, and a strange hooded figure that seems so familiar. No one else can see these things, though these things can see them. They can affect them as well. Virgil hates cities, the bigger the city the more death there is, the more work he has to do. His job is to guide souls to the after life, or if they turn malevolent, cut them down. The moment he was assigned to a city, he already had a death to take care of. Except, it turned out to be a false alarm since the man survived. Virgil wouldn't have cared too much since it happens often, but now that man can see him and other spirits. The ships will be prinxiety, logicality, and demus I will display trigger warnings at the beginning for every chapter as needed, which will include death (human and animal), main character death (kinda? they just be a ghost, they're still in the story), possible gore, and cursing. This is based on a role play I did in a Sanders Sides fan group. It is also inspired by the show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and a podfic called The Selfish Protector by DragonSaphira Reads. Anyway synopsis: Janus wasn't sure where it had all gone wrong. Everything had been going so well. He'd been getting along better with the ligh- 'other' sides, Roman and Virgil had definitely seemed to be getting used to his presence in videos, and they'd even been inviting him to join in on their famILY traditions. Where had it gone wrong? His snake half. Janus had noticed that he'd been adopting more reptilian traits. Shedding? Fine. A few extra scales? Easy to hide... mostly. But it's become more and more prominent and more and more painful and frustrating to deal with. Janus won't ask for help, fearing the others might start to not trust him again and undo everything he'd worked for. How will this go?
