The struggle of Alanah, and how she deals with those against her because she questions her sexuality. Alanah's parents are strictly against the LGBTQ+ community, and have raised her to be that way too. She's made multiple friends who are gay, bisexual, transgender, etc, and each have told her the same thing. "In time, you will find the perfect person for you. Whether they are a boy, girl, or even if you decide to be single. Don't let others' opinions get to you. People think what they think and you can't change their mind. How they choose to show it, and how you choose to respond to it, is what's important." She's been hiding herself from her parents for years. Will she decide to come out to them and to the world, or will she keep pretending to be someone she's not? How would her parents react?
