Life has become something else after Los Angeles had been closed off from the rest of the world. The rich stay in power, safe from all the danger in the city by building literal and metaphorical walls to keep the money in and the poor out. Once or twice a month the city is ravaged by monsters in search of blood and destruction. The city would be in ruins if it wasn't for a strange masked figure.

My name is Alex Cruz. I am a Latin teen currently living a life more luxurious than the Kardashians. It wasn't always like this. I used to be like any normal kid with a single mom working a 9 to 5. That was all until my mom with the help of two of her richest clients was able to become one of the most successful women in finance, owning a multi-million dollar business and throwing us into an entirely new way of life. But my new life isn't all just big houses, fancy limo rides, and money. When the sun sets on this city, secrets unfold. The only things I have to save me from this hell of a city are two of my best friends and a strong mother.

The Limits of Love

29 parts Complete Mature

Fred is your typical teenager; moody, has low-self esteem, and is really bad at math. The only thing that makes him different from the other guys is his taste in music and his sexuality. He knows what he wants right from the start, but is scared of other people thoughts and judgements, and that's why he's kept himself inside the closet ever since he realized he's not really into girls. He tried to hide it from everyone else, even to his close circle of friends, but all of his plans started going south when he meets their new neighbor, Darren, a very handsome fellow who moved to Los Angeles with his family all the way from South Korea to live at the house on the other side of the road. Fred falls for him at first-sight, and things started to escalate when he found out that they were on the same class, and things got even more deeper when Darren agreed to be his tutor in calculus. That's when he realized that his hiding needed to stop. Witness as the two of them struggle with their hardships, relationships, and responsibilities in life as they try to keep their friendship intact from a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Will they manage to keep their relationship as it is, or will it develop into something more, that even an ocean spanning miles and miles couldn't completely separate them from one another?
