Mr. Do Nothing
Somehow, they ended up on vacation together. After a disastrous outing, the members of the Armed Detective Agency find themselves on a luxury cruise. They think they're here on a mission, but Atsushi Nakajima knows the truth. This is all actually an elaborate scheme to get the stressed detectives to go on vacation. Sure, he has no idea what actually happened on said outing, but it's his job to make sure things go smoothly. A job that becomes cataclysmically more difficult when the Port Mafia is discovered to also be on board. Meanwhile, Akutagawa is ordered by Dazai to investigate a series of mysteries while keeping his own presence on the ship a secret. Things start going wrong however when a) his illness starts affecting him more than normal and b) *The stupid fucking weretiger spots him.* Suddenly working together, Atsushi and Akutagawa begrudgingly find themselves spending the trip side by side. Annoyingly in the same cabin, frustratingly way too close for comfort. Bungou Stray Dogs and all its characters belong to Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa Bolded quotes are excerpted from "Hell Screen" by Ryunosuke Akutagawa (the real one).

𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐤𝐨𝐤𝐮 That was love, and it sent a shiver down Akutagawa's spine. He didn't want to hurt him, not any more than he already had. Akutagawa brought two fingers up to his lips. This was love. - or Akutagawa and Atsushi have realized they like each other more than friends should. I RҽɱҽɱႦҽɾ ყσυ... °ˢʰⁱⁿ ˢᵒᵘᵏᵒᵘᵏᵘ°
I of course do not own Bungou stray dogs nor any of the characters, just the storyline! Nor do i own this wonderful art! There are also no manga spoilers contained within this book. Also, the writing style is slightly different in the first four chapters, so i apologize for that. . . . An orphan living within the walls of his abusive orphanage, and a boy living in the slums of Yokohama. The boy from the slums comes stalking into the orphanage, looking for food to steal. Unintentionally, they meet. Followed by an intentional visit. Then another, and another. However, the boy from the slums suddenly stopped his visits. Though the orphan knew he wouldn't forget the others beautiful stormy eyes. Would he? TW: of course Atsushis past is full of abuse, and Akutagawa did murder a whole group of people. Though i guess you already knew that. (This isn't just about how they met, but also how they remembered eachother in the future when they were both in organizations.) (This fic is also on ao3 under the same name if you want to read it there.)Complete
✶ destruction, resolution ✶
in his own mind, Akutagawa thought there to be no place for matters of the heart. he knows the stories, and thought them to be nothing but ridiculous. however, things change when he meets the one person who pisses him off to no end, triggering a dangerous chain of emotions, and realizes that he's also his soulmate of all people. (just when he thought Fate couldn't get any crueler.)Complete

What if after one accident, all your memories were blocked, and the one rule to your recovery is to not force yourself to remember, but figure things out as the days go on?
